Audio Track Commentary
「救い主イエス・キリストがこの日生まれたことを忘れるな。」という歌。この曲を知ったのは、Loreena McKennitt のアルバム"Winter Garden"。イエス生誕の地を彷彿とさせる泥臭く神秘的なアレンジ。
本当にすきなアレンジで、「この曲といえばあのバージョン」となっているため、手を出せる筈はなく収録は考えていなかった。
だが、この曲の原曲ってどんなのだろうと調べたところ、コーラスワーク中心ものが以外と多く、（まあ讃美歌だからね。。）割とアレンジの種類は少ないなあという印象だった。
それなら、ちょっと一石投じてみるかと思い立ち、２か月程の試行錯誤の上、出来上がった。
ロリーナのものとは違い、「夜」、というか月夜、月光をイメージしたアレンジのつもり。差別化できてるかな。。
安生君のハープがうまく盛り上げてくれてます。

これも幼児教室で最初に披露した曲の一つ。ロリーナ・マケニットのアルバムで聴く前にもどこかで聞いたことはあったが、やはりロリーナのアレンジが素晴らしく、断然そこで好きになった曲である。私の中では、この短調で独特の旋律がクリスマスを感じさせる。
